Oba Femi has made it clear that he has no interest in becoming Paul Heyman’s next client. Following his victory over Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank 2026, the 6 ft 6 in star delivered a blunt message to the WWE Hall of Famer during the October 12 episode of WWE RAW.
“The Ruler” entered the ring to address his win, recalling how The Vision had warned him to expect one Tsunami after another when he arrived in New Orleans for Money in the Bank. Instead, he said, he found clear skies ahead. Femi also reminded the audience that Reed and Bron Breakker had already learned what happens when someone stands in his way.
Heyman then appeared, but rather than challenge Femi, he praised the rising star. The legendary manager highlighted Femi becoming the first man to kick out of Reed’s devastating Tsunami splash and called him “a vision of the future of WWE.”
Paul Heyman’s words seemed to open the door to a potential partnership. Femi, however, had no intention of entertaining the idea. He took Heyman’s microphone and tossed it out of the ring before making his position clear.
“With all due respect… I’m not Brock Lesnar. I am definitely not Roman Reigns. Those are Paul Heyman Guys. I am an Oba Femi Guy!”
Femi then left the ring, leaving Heyman behind. The moment established that the former NXT Champion intends to build his WWE career on his own terms rather than rely on the manager who has helped guide some of the company’s biggest stars.
With Bronson Reed already defeated and Breakker previously on the receiving end of Femi’s dominance, “The Ruler” has sent a clear message: he plans to make his own name in WWE.
