A hunter has been found dead in a "horrific" accident at 44 years old.
A hunter was found dead after suffering what witnesses are describing to be a horrific fall over the weekend. The hunter was found dead after falling in the forest in Kota Belud.
"Kota Belud Fire and Rescue chief Elge Bakuk said they received a distress call from the man’s friend at around 7.45pm on Saturday, and a team of five was dispatched to the scene," The Star reported.
The hunter was identified by authorities as a 44-year-old man.
“Upon arrival, medical officials conducted checks on the 44-year-old man before pronouncing him dead,” authorities added.
An official investigation into the deadly fall is underway.
