The A.J. Brown trade chatter hasn't gone anywhere, and neither has Howie Roseman's appetite to shake things up. Brown's situation with the Philadelphia Eagles remains unresolved heading into the offseason, with a potential deal still expected to come together on or after June 1.
But according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, that's not the only thing Roseman has cooking. League sources believe the Eagles' general manager is already sizing up additional trade options as the 2026 NFL Draft gets closer.
One name that keeps coming up is Minnesota Vikings linebacker Jonathan Greenard. Philadelphia has checked in on him multiple times this offseason, according to Schefter, who said there's a belief those conversations could pick back up once draft weekend arrives.

Momentum has cooled recently, though and nothing is close to done at this point.
"One possibility is adding Vikings linebacker Jonathan Greenard, whom the Eagles have checked in on at various points this offseason, per sources," Schefter wrote. "The Eagles' wish list of trade candidates goes well beyond Greenard, per sources, though. Roseman almost always has a Plan A, B, C and D, and his team is one to monitor on one of the busiest weekends of the NFL calendar."
Around the league, none of this comes as a surprise. Roseman has a reputation for being one of the most aggressive GMs in the league when the draft rolls around.
The Eagles have genuine needs across the roster that trades alone won't fix. Offensive tackle, edge rusher, safety, guard, wide receiver and tight end all require attention.
Philadelphia's championship window is still open, but the roster has real gaps that need answers. Draft week is here. And if history is any guide, Roseman will not be sitting still.
