Inter Miami hosts Liga MX side Atlético de San Luis at Nu Stadium today as the club begins its 2026 Leagues Cup campaign.
The Herons enter the tournament after a 2-2 draw against the Columbus Crew in MLS league play and are unbeaten in their last seven matches. With Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul back in the squad, Miami is at full strength and presents a tough challenge for any opponent.
Atlético de San Luis, meanwhile, has struggled for consistency this season. The Mexican side has lost three matches and currently sits 15th in the Liga MX standings.
Inter Miami head coach Guillermo Hoyos does have one major selection issue, however, as leading scorer Luis Suárez is unavailable. The Uruguayan is serving a six-match suspension following misconduct in last year's Leagues Cup final.
The 39-year-old has already scored 10 goals this season, making his absence a significant blow for Miami.

Addressing the media ahead of the match, Hoyos said: "Everyone is available. Obviously (German) Berterame still isn't. We now have more or less the recovery of all the players, and that's very important.”
