On Saturday 5th September, Formula 1 qualifying returns to Monza as the grid prepares to fight it out for pole position ahead of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix.
The qualifying session will start at 4pm local time in Italy and is expected to see George Russell, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc battle it out for the top of the grid.
Championship leader Kimi Antonelli is in a big hole when he starts qualifying, and will be penalized with a place in the back of the pack for Sunday’s race. Russell topped final practice ahead of Hamilton and Verstappen.
How & Where to Watch F1 Italian Grand Prix Qualifying
Fans in the United States can watch every F1 session, including qualifying, live on Apple TV. The new U.S. broadcast deal covers the entire Italian Grand Prix weekend. Qualifying will be broadcast live in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Sky Sports F1, and will be streamed on Sky Go and NOW. Channel 4 will provide highlights.
Qualifying will be broadcast on TSN for Canadian viewers, and on RDS for French-language viewers. Fox Sports and Kayo Sports provide live coverage in Australia, and Sky Sport NZ provides coverage of all sessions in New Zealand.
Qualifying will be available live on FanCode for fans in India. Globo/Sportv is also listed as an official broadcaster in Brazil, Sky Deutschland in Germany, Canal+ in France, DAZN in Spain and beIN SPORTS in several international markets on F1’s official broadcaster list. F1 TV Pro is available in certain territories, subject to local broadcast rights.
