The Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves meet Thursday night in a winner-take-all Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series at Truist Park.
Atlanta took Game 1 by a 5-3 score after Austin Riley hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the eighth inning. Philadelphia answered Wednesday, overcoming a 3-1 deficit before Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper hit back-to-back home runs in the eighth. Alec Bohm then delivered the decisive solo homer in the 10th inning for a 4-3 Phillies victory.
With the series tied 1-1, Thursday’s winner advances to the NL Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, while the losing team sees its season end.
