The Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers meet Thursday night with very different starts to the 2026 NFL season. Atlanta is 0-2 after scoring just 16 points through its first two games, while Green Bay enters its home opener at 1-1 after beating the New York Jets 20-17 in overtime.
The Falcons will also have Michael Penix Jr. back under center. Penix was named Atlanta’s starter for Week 3 after missing the first two games while recovering from the knee injury that ended his 2025 season. His return gives the Falcons their starting quarterback for the first time this season as they try to avoid an 0-3 start.
Green Bay will play its first game at Lambeau Field this season with Jordan Love leading the offense. The Packers will also look to contain Bijan Robinson, who remains one of Atlanta’s biggest offensive weapons.
