San Diego manager Craig Stammen will trust right-handed pitcher Nick Pivetta for the matchup. Pivetta missed nearly five months of the 2026 MLB regular season due to a right elbow injury. On the season, the 33-year-old started eight games, finishing with a 3-2 record and a 2.86 ERA to go along with 42 strikeouts in 34.2 innings.
The Brewers can close out the divisional series with a win on Tuesday to advance to the NL Championship Series, where they will face the winner of the Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers series.
