The Nashville Predators host the Vegas Golden Knights in NHL regular-season action Tuesday night. Here’s how to watch the Western Conference matchup from Bridgestone Arena.

The Nashville Predators begin a three-game homestand Tuesday night when they welcome the Vegas Golden Knights to Bridgestone Arena for an intriguing Western Conference matchup. Nashville enters the contest with a 2-1-2 record after collecting four of a possible six points during a three-game road trip through eastern Canada.

The Predators most recently suffered a 3-2 shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, but head coach Andrew Brunette was encouraged by several aspects of his team’s performance.

Vegas arrives with a 5-2-0 record after suffering a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Monday night, ending the Golden Knights’ four-game winning streak. The quick turnaround creates an interesting challenge for Vegas, which will be playing its second game in as many nights against a Nashville team looking to build momentum at home.

Tuesday also marks the first of three regular-season meetings between the teams.

Golden Knights vs Predators Game Overview

Vegas enters Tuesday’s game looking to rebound from its first loss in five contests. The Golden Knights fell 4-2 to Minnesota on Monday after surrendering three first-period goals.

Rasmus Andersson and William Karlsson scored for Vegas, but the Golden Knights were unable to overcome the early deficit. The loss dropped Vegas to 5-2-0, although the team remains one of the stronger performers in the Western Conference during the opening weeks.

Jack Eichel continues to anchor the offense, while Mitch Marner enters Tuesday riding a three-game point streak. Mark Stone and Tomas Hertl provide additional offensive talent, giving Vegas several different players capable of creating scoring opportunities.

Nashville Looking To Bounce Back

Nashville has its own reasons for optimism. Steven Stamkos leads the Predators with three goals and seven points through five games, while captain Roman Josi has contributed six points.

Both Stamkos and Josi have recorded points in each of Nashville’s first five games. Filip Forsberg remains another important part of the Predators’ offense, while Juuse Saros has provided stability in goal with a .915 save percentage through four appearances.

Nashville’s power play has also been particularly effective, converting 31.6% of its opportunities. The Predators recently added defenseman Jayden Struble in a trade with Montreal. Struble made his Nashville debut Saturday against Ottawa, recording six hits in more than 19 minutes of ice time.

Another player worth watching is rookie Vitali Pinchuk, who recorded an assist during his NHL debut against the Senators.

Good Ole Fashioned Western Conference Battle

Tuesday’s matchup also brings former Vegas forward Jonathan Marchessault back into competition against his former team. Marchessault spent seven seasons with the Golden Knights, winning the Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe Trophy in 2023.

For Nashville, Tuesday provides an opportunity to begin its homestand with a victory over one of the Western Conference’s strongest teams. Vegas, meanwhile, will attempt to respond to Monday’s loss and avoid consecutive defeats during its road trip.
