No. 6 Miami finally plays its first Saturday game of the 2026 season when the Hurricanes host Central Michigan at Hard Rock Stadium.
Miami enters the matchup at 3-0 after opening ACC play with wins over Stanford and Wake Forest. The Hurricanes have outscored their opponents 155-33 through three games and are coming off a 33-20 road win over Wake Forest.
Central Michigan is 2-1 heading into its final nonconference game. The Chippewas have won two straight after losing their opener to New Mexico, including a 24-10 victory over Wyoming last week. Central Michigan rushed for 339 yards in that win.

The broadcast team will feature Thom Brennaman on play-by-play, Jason Cabinda as the analyst and Wes Bryant reporting from the sideline.
Miami quarterback Darian Mensah has thrown for 873 yards and 11 touchdowns without an interception through three games. The Duke transfer also set an ACC record by completing his first 24 pass attempts against Wake Forest.
Central Michigan quarterback Angel Flores enters after rushing for a career-high 163 yards and two touchdowns against Wyoming. He attempted only seven passes in that game as the Chippewas leaned heavily on their ground attack. Running back Jayden Clervaux added 81 rushing yards.
Miami won the only previous meeting, 17-12, in 2019. Saturday’s game is the Hurricanes’ final nonconference contest before they continue ACC play.
