Army and Louisiana Tech meet Saturday night in a non-conference matchup as the Black Knights travel to Ruston, Louisiana.

Army and Louisiana Tech Meet for Fourth Time
Saturday’s game is the fourth all-time meeting between Army and Louisiana Tech. The Black Knights have won each of the previous three matchups.
The most recent meeting came in the 2024 Independence Bowl, when Army defeated Louisiana Tech 27-6. The programs also met in 2013 and 2008, with Army winning both games.
Army brings one of the nation’s strongest rushing attacks into the matchup. The Black Knights are averaging 355.7 rushing yards per game, with quarterback Cale Hellums leading the ground attack. Hellums rushed for 1,223 yards and 18 touchdowns last season and has already accounted for seven touchdowns this season.
Louisiana Tech will be looking for its first victory over Army in a regular-season game. The Bulldogs are also celebrating Military Appreciation Day and Legends Day at Joe Aillet Stadium, with the team wearing its Stars & Stripes helmet, blue jersey and white pants.
