No. 7 Alabama and No. 16 Mississippi State meet Saturday in one of the biggest SEC games of Week 5, with both teams entering the matchup at 4-0.
The Crimson Tide are coming off a 49-18 win over South Carolina. Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell threw for 365 yards and four touchdowns while adding a rushing score in the victory. The Tide are 2-0 in SEC play.
Mississippi State is also 2-0 in conference play after rallying past No. 19 Missouri, 31-24, last Saturday. Quarterback Kamario Taylor threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns in the comeback as the Bulldogs improved to 4-0.

Alabama vs. Mississippi State Overview
Russell enters the matchup after one of his best performances of the season against South Carolina. He completed 21 of 27 passes for 365 yards and four touchdowns while adding 35 rushing yards and another score.
Taylor has been equally productive for the Bulldogs. Mississippi State’s sophomore quarterback enters Week 5 tied for the national lead with 14 touchdown passes and leads the SEC with 1,377 total yards of offense, according to the Bulldogs.
Mississippi State also enters the game with a strong offensive profile. The Bulldogs produced 499 total yards against Missouri, including 360 passing yards and 139 rushing yards.
