The Indiana Fever return home Tuesday night with their season on the line against the Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs. Las Vegas took Game 1, 102-85, on Sunday at Michelob ULTRA Arena, putting Indiana one loss away from elimination in the best-of-three first-round series.
Indiana had won two of its three regular-season meetings with Las Vegas, including both games played in Las Vegas. The Fever now return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where they will try to force a decisive Game 3.
A’ja Wilson led the Aces in the opener with 38 points, while Jackie Young added 21 points and 10 assists. Caitlin Clark finished with 15 points and 10 assists but committed six turnovers, while Kelsey Mitchell scored 12 points.

Wilson enters Game 2 after one of the strongest performances of her playoff career. The Aces star shot 15-of-19 from the field in Game 1 while adding 16 rebounds and four blocks. Young also recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 assists.
Indiana needs a much more efficient offensive performance from Clark and Mitchell. The two guards combined to shoot 10-of-33 in Game 1, while Clark’s turnovers contributed to Indiana’s struggles. Aliyah Boston also remains important as the Fever look to slow Wilson and extend the series.
A Las Vegas win sends the Aces into the semifinals for the eighth straight season. If Indiana wins, the series returns to Las Vegas for Game 3 on Thursday.
