The Dallas Cowboys are finally back on the field after months of offseason work. Brian Schottenheimer’s team will begin its preseason against the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Both teams will use the matchup to evaluate young players and roster battles ahead of their regular season opener in September.
The Seahawks are also getting their first game action since winning the Super Bowl, although several established starters are expected to sit. Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold has already been ruled out, while Dallas is expected to give extended opportunities to players competing for roster spots and backup roles.
