The wait is finally over.

After more than a month of unforgettable matches across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the 2026 FIFA World Cup comes down to one last game. Spain and Argentina meet on Sunday, July 19, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with the trophy on the line.

Spain is chasing its second World Cup title after lifting the trophy in South Africa in 2010, and defending champion Argentina is looking to make history by winning back-to-back World Cups for the first time.

The final also brings together two generations of football icons, with Lionel Messi leading Argentina against Spain's teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.
