Lexie Hull and the Indiana Fever were victorious against the Portland Fire, 90-73, on Wednesday despite the late scratch of star guard Caitlin Clark. Guard Tyasha Harris was thrust into the starting lineup in her place, providing a game-high seven assists with zero turnovers.
Forward Aliyah Boston, who missed the previous game against the Seattle Storm on Sunday, scored a game-high 24 points. Boston tied guard Hull for the game high in rebounds, with eight. Hull played 22 minutes, scoring 16 points while going 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. The fifth-year pro also contributed an assist and a block, ending the game tied with guard Kelsey Mitchell for a game-high plus-minus of 25.

The 6-foot-2 guard had an efficient night from the field, finishing with a 138.9% true shooting percentage. It turns out Hull’s efficiency was historic. After the game, it was announced that Hull recorded the second-highest TS% by a player with 15 or more points in WNBA history. Only Tully Bevilaqua, who is currently on the Fever coaching staff, surpassed the mark as a player for Indiana in 2008.
In a game against the Connecticut Sun on July 5, 2008, Bevilaqua scored 17 points on 5-for-5 shooting from 3-point range and 2-for-2 shooting from the free-throw line. The performance gave her a true shooting percentage of 144.56%.
