A wide receiver recruit in the 2027 college football recruiting class has announced his commitment.
According to On3/Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, wide receiver Eli Woodard has committed to USC. Woodard chose USC over Oregon, Michigan and Missouri.
“All Glory to God, I’m home," Woodard told Fawcett.
Woodard is a three-star recruit in the 2027 class and the No. 50 recruit in California, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He's also the No. 70 wide receiver recruit in the nation and the No. 539 overall recruit.
Woodard is the second recruit to commit to the Trojans for their 2027 recruiting class. They have the No. 34 recruiting class in the country, per 247Sports' overall ranking.

The Trojans are coming off a 9-4 2025 season. They lost on overtime in the Alamo Bowl after going 9-3 during the regular season.
Lincoln Riley has been the head coach for four seasons, compiling a 35-18 overall record. He went 11-3 during his first season in 2022, but hasn't won double-digit games in a season since then.
Riley hopes to change that in 2026 and guide the Trojans to the College Football Playoff, since they haven't made it during his tenure. Before taking the USC job, Riley guided Oklahoma to the CFP multiple times and led the program to three 12-win seasons.
USC's 2026 college football season will include games against Fresno State on Sept. 5, Louisiana on Sept. 12, Oregon, Penn State, Ohio State and Indiana.
