With Christmas exactly six months away, Hallmark confirmed that it's producing another NFL-themed movie.
In 2024, Hallmark Media produced a holiday-themed romance movie about a Kansas City Chiefs fan. The film, "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story," included cameos from Andy Reid, Donna Kelce and Mecole Hardman among other stars.
One year later, Hallmark continued this NFL-themed series by releasing "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story." Unsurprisingly, Jim Kelly and Damar Hamlin made brief appearances in this film.
So which team will be featured on Hallmark this upcoming holiday season? It was announced Thursday that Hallmark's next movie will be titled "Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story."
“We are honored, grateful and excited to join forces with Hallmark Media, Skydance Sports and NFL Films on this special project,” Chicago Bears president Kevin Warren said. “As we continually look for ways to further the connection with our passionate Chicago Bears fans and amplify our global brand in creative ways, we will provide our club and our fans with the opportunity to grow together by creating a special, meaningful movie. We look forward to the work ahead alongside Hallmark Media, Skydance Sports and NFL Films, and we are energized for the product we will create together, celebrating football, family, the Chicago Bears and the holiday season.”

Perfect fit for Hallmark.
For starters, the Bears are one of the most popular teams in the NFL. It also helps that Chicago is back on the map thanks to the emergence of Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams.
Another reason the Bears make sense for Hallmark is because Chicago can produce that winter atmosphere that's perfect for a Christmas film.
Last but not least, the Bears are actually going to play on Christmas Day. This movie can essentially serve as an appetizer for their fan base.
