Haiti and New Zealand are in the United States and will face off at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Both national teams qualified for the 2026 World Cup.
Haiti and New Zealand qualified through their respective qualifiers, with Haiti qualifying from the CONCACAF qualifiers and New Zealand qualifying from the Oceania region.
Both nations played in the March international break. Haiti faced Tunisia and Iceland in late March. Haiti lost 1-0 to Tunisia but then drew 1-1 with Iceland; Wilson Idisor scored the goal for Haiti.

New Zealand played against Finland and Chile during the March international break. New Zealand lost 2-0 to Finland but then defeated Chile 4-1.
In the 4-1 win over Chile, the New Zealand goalscorers were Kosta Barbarouses, Elijah Just, Jesse Randall, and Ben Waine.
Haiti will make their second-ever appearance in a World Cup this summer and are in Group C with Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland. New Zealand returned to the World Cup in 2010 and is in Group G with Belgium, Iran, and Egypt.
