Following the recent car crash involving Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, attention briefly shifted to his girlfriend, Eliska Babickova, as she resumed activity on Instagram. Babickova did not directly address the incident in her stories. Instead, she shared a quiet sequence of posts that appeared to reflect personal downtime.
Her first story showed a snowy forest path, captioned: “Hike number 2.” The image featured a winter landscape lined with trees and partially frozen ground, suggesting she was spending time outdoors.

In her second story, Babickova posted a photo of herself standing in the snow, dressed in a beige winter hat, sunglasses, gloves, and a cropped fur jacket. The setting matched the earlier hiking location, reinforcing the calm, personal tone of her updates.
The third story featured a repost from Tereza Babickova’s Instagram, captioned: “A family affair.” However, the image, showing them holding drinks at what appears to be a restaurant in the Czech Republic, matches a post shared roughly a week earlier from the same location and in the same outfit. This suggests it was a re-share rather than a new gathering following the crash.
Notably, none of the stories referenced Antonelli’s accident directly. Instead, Babickova’s updates maintained a neutral and personal tone, focusing on daily life rather than the heightened media attention surrounding the incident.
What Happened to Kimi Antonelli?
Just days before Formula 1’s first preseason test in Bahrain, Kimi Antonelli was involved in a car crash in San Marino, near his home.
The incident occurred on Saturday when his limited-edition 'Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ Motorsport Collectors Edition' left the road and hit a guardrail; no other cars were involved, and emergency services were called to the scene after Antonelli himself contacted authorities.

Mercedes confirmed that the 19-year-old emerged completely unharmed and did not require medical treatment, quietly assuring that the crash would not impact his planned participation in the opening Bahrain test from February 11 to 13. In fact, the Italian driver appeared to be all smiles as he arrived for the F1 testing session in Bahrain.
Under the team’s schedule, Antonelli will run in alternating sessions across the three days, sharing duties with teammate George Russell as preparations continue ahead of the Bahrain testing session.
