According to TickPick via Arash Markazi, the get-in price for the World Cup Final has risen to a whopping $18,822. It's a new record for the most expensive get-in price to any sporting event in recorded history, and doubles the price of Super Bowl LVIII tickets (the previous high).
"The get-in price for the World Cup Final is now $10,000. It's the most expensive ticket to a sporting event ever recorded. The average price is $18,822. That's double the previous record, according to TickPick," Markazi wrote.
It's an unfortunate markup for anyone hoping to get in late to the biggest sporting event in the world, but that's the difference between a national game and a global one.
Spain vs. Argentina
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will conclude with a blockbuster showdown as defending champion Argentina takes on reigning European champion Spain.
Argentina has relied on its experience, resilience, and the brilliance of 39-year-old Lionel Messi, who may very well play the final World Cup match of his legendary career.
