Much to the displeasure of college football fans, FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” is heading to Ohio Stadium this weekend.
FOX confirmed that Urban Meyer and the rest of the “Big Noon Kickoff” crew will be in Columbus to preview a matchup between Illinois and No. 7 Ohio State. It’s a decision that’s not exactly sitting well with the public.
Fans are convinced “Big Noon Kickoff” prioritizes Ohio State over every other school in the Big Ten. That theory is gaining traction since FOX’s top pregame show won’t be covering Saturday’s showdown between No. 20 Oregon and No. 12 USC.

“Big Noon Kickoff goes to Columbus for the 100th time in the last five years,” one person commented. “Shocker.”
“The concept of doing millions of dollars in market research and competitive analysis to identify a way to position yourself against College Gameday just to go to Ohio State 4+ weeks of the season anyways,” a second person wrote.
“Big Ohio State Kickoff continues,” a fan replied.
“Do they know Oregon and USC play this weekend,” another fan asked.
How often does “Big Noon Kickoff” cover Ohio State?
During the 2025 season, “Big Noon Kickoff” went to Ohio Stadium twice. FOX’s pregame show also covered Ohio State’s road games against Illinois and Michigan.
If we rewind to the 2024 season, you’ll notice that “Big Noon Kickoff” went to Columbus four times. “Big Noon Kickoff” also covered Ohio State’s road game against Penn State.
So there you have it: “Big Noon Kickoff” has covered 11 Ohio State games since the start of the 2024 season.
