Tom Brady will call his final game for the 2025-26 NFL season this weekend in the NFC Championship Game. The reviews on his performance were better than last year, but people still wonder whether the NFL icon is truly in it for the long term at FOX.
In an interview with Richard Deitsch of Sports Business Journal, FOX NFL producer Richie Zyontz praised Brady on his improvement year over year. Zyontz said that while he can't predict what the future holds for Brady, he believes the seven-time Super Bowl champion is committed to working at FOX.
“I think he’s long-term for it, for sure,” Zyontz said. “You can’t predict the future and you can't foresee unforeseen events. But I would say right now he’s committed to doing this as long as he can and he’s gotten damn good at it.”
Brady & Broadcasting
NFL fans have long been skeptical of the relationship that Brady gets with the NFL as a broadcaster due to his minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
Despite a seemingly obvious conflict of interest by owning part of a team while giving commentary on the other 31, the league has not done much about it other than to place minor limits on how Brady interacts with teams before games.
Brady has pressed on with his career in broadcasting and currently ranks among the highest paid in his profession despite being only two years into the career.

But while Brady has no shortage of detractors who will never like him or his commentary, no matter how hard he works, there's no denying that 2025 was an improvement on 2024.
Get used to hearing Brady's voice in the booth every Sunday for a very, very long time.
