A former NFL player is making fun of Caleb Williams’ reaction to his hamstring injury on Sunday afternoon.
Williams suffered a hamstring injury in the second half of Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He was down on the field for several minutes, screaming in serious pain. Williams was then carted off of the field, with a towel draped off of his head.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson said postgame that the team will know more on Monday.
“We’ll know tomorrow,” Johnson said of the severity of Williams’ injury on Sunday. “He’s in good spirits. He’s a team player.”
He added: “I’m actually happy it’s nothing with the knee — that was my first inclination. But, a hamstring could be pretty damaging as well. So, we’ll see. We’ll see how bad it is tomorrow and we’ll go from there.”

But one former NFL player is making fun of Williams’ reaction to his hamstring injury on Sunday afternoon.
Former NFL linebacker Will Compton says that Williams cannot be screaming in pain for a hamstring injury.
Compton serves as a college football analyst for ESPN.
Williams made fun of for his injury reaction
Williams is being made fun of.
“Now that we’re on the other side of this news and Caleb Williams is okay…You can’t scream like that and get carted off for a hamstring,” he wrote.
“You just can’t.”
Compton defended himself, saying that he played through some serious injuries during his career.
“People forget I played through a Grade 2+ hamstring at the bottom of my (butt), and picked off Kirk Cousins and RG3 at practice in 2013,” he added on social media.
Ultimately, Bears fans just hope that Williams is OK.
Williams finished the game going 15-of-26 for 138 yards with an interception, while adding 42 rushing yards on five carries.
