A former ESPN “College GameDay” analyst has landed a new job ahead of the 2026 college football regular season.

ESPN’s “College GameDay” is set to feature Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and Pat McAfee in 2026. David Pollack used to be part of the “College GameDay” crew. However, the former University of Georgia Bulldogs star was laid off by the Worldwide Leader in Sports in 2023. He was replaced on “GameDay” by McAfee.

McAfee was first showered with boos by fans who preferred Pollack.

“They did not love me,” McAfee said in 2023, via Awful Announcing. “You’ve gotta remember that the whole narrative all year was that because my show came to ESPN, obviously we fired Steve Young, we fired all the people that were here and were great people at ESPN. It was my show’s fault. And then on GameDay, David Pollack got let go. David Pollack — who I am a massive fan of. One of the greatest Bulldogs of all time. A dude who was very good to me — obviously, I took his spot. So Georgia fans all year, not necessarily the biggest McAfee fans.”

Pollack has since been building his own thing.

The former college football All-American has his own show, “See Ball Get Ball,” and he’s landed a new gig ahead of the 2026 college football season.

On3 has announced that Pollack will be joining the company as a college football analyst. The Shannon Terry-founded sports media company is partnering with Pollack and his show for 2026.

“David Pollack is one of the most respected and recognizable voices in college football,” said Terry, Founder & CEO of On3. “He brings credibility, personality and a lifetime of football experience. Adding David and See Ball Get Ball to what we’re building strengthens our national coverage and is a big win for the On3 audience.”

Pollack is excited to get going, too.

“College football is what I love, and I’ve had a blast building See Ball Get Ball,” Pollack said. “When you look at the audience On3 has built, the momentum behind the brand and how committed they are to college football, uniting with On3 was a no-brainer. I’m excited about what we can build together.”

The college football season is set to get going soon, with games beginning as early as this weekend.
