Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow seems to be living his best life this NFL offseason.
Towards the end of the 2025 NFL season, there were rumblings about Burrow being unhappy with his situation in Cincinnati. The Pro Bowl quarterback even told the media that he wanted the Bengals to make notable changes in the offseason, albeit he didn't specify what needed to be done from a personnel standpoint.
“We don’t want to be in the spot we are in now, so something’s got to change,” Burrow told reporters, via ESPN. “Whether it’s players we have continuing to improve and get better and play championship-caliber football or bringing in guys that will or whatever it may be. Obviously, something has to [change].”
Burrow hasn't said much about the Bengals since the end of the 2025 season. He's kept himself busy though, attending the Kentucky Derby and Met Gala in a 48-hour stretch.
Judging by some of the reactions online, Bengals fans aren't thrilled about Burrow spending his offseason at extravagant events.

"Is this dude even training and worried about football anymore," a fan asked.
"Patrick Mahomes is getting ready for the season, and this guy is at the Met Gala," a Chiefs fan wrote on X. "Don’t ever compare this guy to Patrick Mahomes again."
"Joe Burrow is unserious about playing football as a Cincinnati Bengal," another fan declared.
"Straight from the Derby to Met someone are wondering (not me) - does Burrow really love ball or just the fame that comes with it," a social media user said.
Could the Bengals trade Burrow?
Even though Burrow has expressed his frustration with the Bengals, it's unlikely he'll be moved anytime soon.
“Burrow said two weeks ago he wasn’t having any fun playing football and was frustrated by everything,” CBS insider Jonathan Jones wrote. “Sources explained then he was venting because he’s not winning after making yet another injury comeback, but that he is not contemplating retirement or moving on from Cincinnati.”
If the 2026 season doesn't go according to plan, maybe the Bengals will consider moving on from Burrow. However, it'd reportedly take a "Ricky Williams-type trade offer" for them to entertain this idea.
