The Florida Panthers have been in the Stanley Cup Finals the last three seasons, but it appears as if that magic will be coming to an end this season. Florida is currently in last place in the Atlantic Division with a 30-28-3 record with 63 points. They have played 61 games this season and have just 21 games remaining.
With the NHL trade deadline on Friday March 6, there are decisions that the Panthers are going to have to make. Florida will no doubt be sellers. One player who will be a free agent after the season is 37-year-old goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. There is a chance that he could be traded at the NHL trade deadline.
This season with Florida, he has a 22-19-1 record with a .873 save percentage and a 3.13 GAA, along with three shutouts. Bobrovsky has played in a lot of games over the last several years.

There is no doubt that some teams who are in the playoffs need goaltending help. The Colorado Avalanche, the Edmonton Oilers, and the Carolina Hurricanes are some teams that could potentially trade for Bobrovsky.
Well, Pierre LeBrun of TSN thinks that the Panthers goalie could very well be on the move. He said, "The Panthers lost again last night and my understanding is they've made the decision to be sellers as far as listening on pending UFAs, which most notably include the likes of AJ. Greer and Sergei Bobrovsky. Bobrovsky has a 16-team no-trade list. Doesn't mean he will be dealt for sure, just means Florida is listening."
Teams may not want him because he is not having a good season. There is also a good chance that Florida does not re-sign him after this season concludes. If they were to trade him, the only other goalie on the roster at the moment is Daniil Tarasov. The Panthers would then have to call up someone from the minors if they traded him or acquire someone else in a trade when they give up Bobrovsky potentially.
