The game is here, and so are our predictions. Here is where we stand just moments before kickoff between the Titans and the 49ers.

The game is inching closer and closer, as the Titans and the 49ers are set to go to war against each other on Thursday night. Recently, Bryce Lazenby, who is a 49ers reporter, caught up with me to discuss his final predictions. Here is where we stand.

"Ultimately, the Titans win this game just due to playing more of their starters. The 49ers are just trying to get a read on some bubble players," Lazenby stated in his prediction.

"I believe that the Titans will set the pace for the remainder of their preseason slate this week. They will be playing more of their starters and will be asked to execute early. This group has progressed from top to bottom with their new leadership. They give me no reason to believe that they will fall short in this game, but if they do, then there will be some room for a deeper conversation. As of now, I do believe this game will be filled with ups and downs, but a 27-point offensive performance will do the trick inside Levi's Stadium."

This game is set to be a barn-burner following a joint practice that didn't go so well after multiple players were ejected from the event for fighting. This is going to be a great test for both teams, not only from an on-field standpoint, but also when it comes to the composure that the teams have moving forward. I believe that this is going to be something that wins a team a game, as any altercation after the play will just hurt the team that the player plays for.

I am watching multiple players closely in this game, but it is easy to focus on some of the Titans players such as Carnell Tate and Cam Ward, who are both entering the first game under Brian Daboll. This will show a ton about how the season is looking even before Week 1 gets here, as this system is something that the team will want to master, and master quickly, as the talent on the field is undeniable. Daboll has made do with less talent, so he will have no problem leading this ship to success if they allow him to.
