The New Orleans Pelicans are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Sacramento Kings in a Western Conference matchup.
New Orleans enters Thursday’s game with a 19-44 record after losing on the road to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s loss to the Lakers, Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans as he recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Zion Williamson added 24 points and four rebounds of his own.
Now New Orleans will try to bounce back on the road on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Kings team.
On the other side, Sacramento enters Thursday’s contest with a 14-49 record after losing at home to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.

Maxime Raynaud led the way for the Kings in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 22 points, 10 rebounds and four assists while Precious Achiuwa recorded 18 points and nine rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Pelicans Injury Report: Will Zion Williamson, Trey Murphy III Play?
For the Pelicans, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Williamson and Murphy III.

New Orleans has listed Williamson as questionable due to a right ankle sprain and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 1.
If Williamson is sidelined, DeAndre Jordan and Bryce McGowens could both be in line for increased roles.

The Pelicans have also listed Murphy III as questionable due to neck spasms and he is in danger of missing his first game since February 28.
If Murphy III is sidelined, Jeremiah Fears and Jordan Poole could both have larger roles for the Pelicans.
Dejounte Murray has been ruled out due to return to competition reconditioning as the Pelicans will elect to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back.
Kings Injury Report
On the other side, the Kings have five players listed on their injury report for Thursday night’s matchup.

Sacramento has ruled out both Keegan Murray and Dylan Cardwell as they both remain sidelined while recovering from left ankle sprains.

The Kings have also ruled out Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine and De’Andre Hunter as they are all set to miss the remainder of the season.
