Final Nets-Heat Injury Report: Will Norman Powell, Egor Demin Play?

The Miami Heat are at home on Thursday night as they host the Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup.

Miami enters Thursday’s game with a 33-29 record after defeating Brooklyn at home on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Nets, Bam Adebayo led the way for the Heat as he recorded 23 points, nine rebounds and four assists while Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 20 points, five rebounds and four assists of his own off the bench.

Now Miami will try to grab another victory at home on Thursday as they face off against the Nets once again.

On the other side, Brooklyn enters Thursday’s contest with a 15-46 record after losing on the road to the Heat on Tuesday night.

Noah Clowney led the way for the Nets in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 17 points and seven rebounds while Ziaire Williams recorded 16 points and two assists off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both sides may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

Nets Injury Report: Will Egor Demin Play?

For the Nets, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out guard Egor Demin.

Brooklyn has ruled out Demin due to left plantar fascia injury management as he will miss his third consecutive contest.

With Demin sidelined once again, Terance Mann and Nolan Traore could both continue to have increased roles.

Heat Injury Report: Will Norman Powell, Nikola Jovic Play?

On the other side, the Heat have four players listed on their injury report, including both Norman Powell and Nikola Jovic.

Miami has ruled out Powell due to a right groin strain as he will miss his third consecutive contest.

With Powell sidelined once again, Jaquez Jr., Herro and Pelle Larsson could all continue to have larger roles.

The Heat have also ruled out Jovic due to back injury as he will miss his sixth straight game which could allow for Kel’el Ware to have an increased role.

Simone Fontecchio has also been ruled out due to a left groin strain while Terry Rozier remains away from the team.
