The Denver Nuggets are at home on Thursday night as they host the Los Angeles Lakers in a Western Conference showdown.
Denver enters Thursday’s game with a 38-24 record after defeating the Utah Jazz on the road on Monday night.

In Monday’s victory over the Jazz, Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets as he recorded 45 points and eight assists while Nikola Jokic added 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists of his own.
Now Denver will try to grab another victory on Thursday as they face off against the Lakers in a tough home matchup.
On the other side, Los Angeles enters Thursday’s contest with a 37-24 record after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Tuesday night.

Luka Doncic led the way for the Lakers in Tuesday’s victory as he ended the game with 27 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists while LeBron James recorded 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night's matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
Lakers Injury Report: Will Maxi Kleber Play?
For the Lakers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Maxi Kleber as questionable.

Los Angeles has listed Kleber as questionable due to back soreness and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest after he sat out Tuesday’s victory despite being cleared to play.
Outside of Kleber, the rest of the Lakers’ roster enters Thursday’s game healthy as they try to pick up a key road victory.
Nuggets Injury Report: Will Cameron Johnson, Aaron Gordon Play?
On the other side, the Nuggets have four players listed on their injury report, including both Cameron Johnson and Aaron Gordon.

Denver has listed Johnson as questionable due to right ankle inflammation and he is in danger of missing his second straight game.
If Johnson is sidelined once again, Jonas Valanciunas, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown could all be in line for increased roles.

The Nuggets have ruled out Gordon as he continues to recover from a right hamstring strain, though there is a chance he could return against the New York Knicks on Friday night.
Peyton Watson has also been ruled out with a right hamstring strain while Spencer Jones remains sidelined while recovering from a right shoulder strain.
