The Dallas Wings are on the road Sunday night as they travel to take on the Golden State Valkyries in Game 1 of the first round of the WNBA playoffs.
Dallas enters Sunday’s game as the No. 7 seed in the WNBA playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 27-17 record following their victory on the road over the Seattle Storm Wednesday night.

In Wednesday’s victory over the Storm, Paige Bueckers led the way for the Wings as she recorded 25 points, five rebounds and seven assists while Jessica Shepard added 20 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists of her own.
The Wings will try to grab another victory Sunday as they try to steal Game 1 on the road and take a 1-0 series lead over the Valkyries.
Golden State enters Sunday’s game as the No. 2 seed in the WNBA playoffs after ending the regular season with a 32-12 record following their victory on the road over the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday night.

Veronica Burton led the way for the Valkyries in Thursday’s victory as she ended the game with 17 points, three rebounds and five assists while Kaitlyn Chen recorded 18 points and three rebounds off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 1 Sunday night, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Wings Injury Report: Will Alanna Smith, Alysha Clark Play?

The Wings have three players listed on their injury report, including forward Alanna Smith.
Dallas has ruled out Smith due to a lower left leg injury as she will miss her fifth consecutive contest.
The Wings have also ruled out Costanza Verona due to personal reasons while Azzi Fudd will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from knee surgery.

The good news for the Wings is that Alysha Clark is off the injury report and will return after missing Wednesday’s victory with a facial injury.
Valkyries Injury Report
The Valkyries have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Iliana Rupert, who will miss the remainder of the season due to her pregnancy.
Fans can catch Game 1 between the Wings and Valkyries from the Chase Center at 9 p.m. ET on USA Network.
