The Minnesota Lynx are at home Monday night as they host the Golden State Valkyries in a Western Conference showdown.

Minnesota enters Monday’s game with a 31-7 record after defeating the Washington Mystics on the road Friday night.

In Friday’s victory over the Mystics, Olivia Miles led the way for the Lynx as she recorded 24 points, three rebounds, seven assists and three steals while Natasha Howard added 21 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks of her own.

The Lynx will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to seven games Monday as they face off against the Valkyries in a tough home matchup.

Golden State enters Monday’s contest with a 25-11 record after losing on the road to the Chicago Sky Friday night.

Laeticia Amihere led the way for the Valkyries in Friday’s loss as she ended the game with 16 points and six rebounds off the bench while Janelle Salaun recorded 13 points and four rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Golden State has ruled out Rupert as she will miss the remainder of the season due to her pregnancy.

The Lynx have two players listed on their injury report for Monday, including Courtney Williams.

Minnesota has ruled out Williams due to a lower right leg injury that she suffered in Friday’s victory as she will miss her first game of the season.

The Lynx have also ruled out Emma Cechova as she will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

The good news for the Lynx is that Napheesa Collier is off their injury report and will return against the Valkyries after sitting out Friday’s game due to rest.
