The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Houston Rockets in a Western Conference showdown.
Minnesota enters Friday’s game with a 27-14 record after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks on the road on Tuesday night in dominant fashion.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Bucks, Julius Randle led the way for the Timberwolves as he recorded 29 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Bones Hyland added 23 points and five assists of his own off the bench.
Now Minnesota will try to grab another victory on Friday as they face off against the Rockets in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Houston enters Friday’s contest with a 23-15 record after losing at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.

Kevin Durant led the way for the Rockets in Thursday’s loss as he ended the game with 19 points and seven rebounds while Jabari Smith Jr. recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Timberwolves Injury Report, Will Anthony Edwards Play?
For the Timberwolves, they have two players listed on their injury report for Friday, including star guard Anthony Edwards.

Minnesota has ruled out Edwards due to right foot injury maintenance as he will miss his second consecutive contest.
With Edwards sidelined once again, Mike Conley and Hyland could both continue to have increased roles.

The Timberwolves have also ruled out Terrence Shannon Jr. as he remains sidelined while recovering from a left foot strain.
Rockets Injury Report, Will Tari Eason, Dorian Finney-Smith Play?
On the other side, the Rockets have only one player listed on their injury report for Friday as they have listed Tari Eason as questionable.

Houston has listed Eason as questionable due to a right ankle sprain and he is in danger of missing his fourth consecutive contest.
If Eason is sidelined once again, Josh Okogie and Aaron Holiday could both be in line for larger roles.

The good news for the Rockets is that Dorian Finney-Smith is off their injury report and will return after missing the last two games due to ankle injury management.
