The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Toronto Raptors in an interconference showdown.
Minnesota enters Wednesday’s game with a 31-20 record after losing on the road to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

In Monday’s loss to the Grizzlies, Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves as he recorded 39 points, seven rebounds and three assists while Jaden McDaniels added 29 points, four rebounds and three assists of his own.
Now Minnesota will try to bounce back on Wednesday as the face off against the Raptors in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Toronto enters Wednesday’s contest with a 30-21 record after defeating the Utah Jazz at home on Sunday night.

RJ Barrett led the way for the Raptors in Sunday’s victory as he ended the game with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists while Brandon Ingram recorded 19 points, five rebounds and three assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Timberwolves Injury Report, Will Anthony Edwards, Julius Randle Play?
For the Timberwolves, they have four players listed on their injury report, including both Edwards and Julius Randle.

Minnesota has listed Edwards as questionable due to left elbow soreness and he is in danger of missing his first game since January 26.
If Edwards is sidelined, Boney Hyland could be in line for an increased role, especially after the Timberwolves traded Mike Conley to the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.

The Timberwolves have also listed Randle as questionable due to left thumb soreness, though he was able to play through the injury on Monday against the Grizzlies.
Terrence Shannon Jr. has been ruled out as he remains sidelined while recovering from a left foot strain.
Raptors Injury Report
On the other side, the Raptors have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center Jakob Poeltl.

Toronto has ruled out Poeltl due to a lower back injury that has kept him out since late December.
With Poeltl still sidelined, Sandro Mamukelashvili and Collin Murray-Boyles could both continue to have increased roles.
