Final Injury Report for Tempo-Valkyries: Will Marina Mabrey, Aneesah Morrow Play?

The Toronto Tempo are on the road Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Golden State Valkyries in an interconference matchup.

Toronto enters Tuesday’s game with a 10-19 record after losing on the road to Golden State Sunday night.

In Sunday’s loss to the Valkyries, Nyara Sabally led the way for the Tempo as she recorded 19 points and eight rebounds while Kiki Rice added 16 points, five rebounds and three assists of her own.

The Tempo will try to bounce back and snap their six-game losing streak Tuesday as they face off against the Valkyries on the road once again.

Golden State enters Tuesday’s contest with a 20-9 record after defeating the Tempo at home Sunday night.

Janelle Salaun led the way for the Valkyries in Sunday’s victory as she ended the game with 24 points and three rebounds off the bench while Veronica Burton recorded 17 points and six assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Tempo Injury Report: Will Marina Mabrey, Aneesah Morrow Play?

The Tempo have three players listed on their injury report, including Marina Mabrey and Aneesah Morrow.

Toronto has listed Mabrey as questionable due to a neck injury and she is in danger of missing her second consecutive contest.

The Tempo have listed Morrow as probable and she is expected to make her team debut after Toronto acquired her from the Connecticut Sun Friday.

Brittney Sykes has been ruled out due to a left plantar fascia injury that has sidelined her since June 19 and there is still no timetable for her return.

Valkyries Injury Report

The Valkyries have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Iliana Rupert.

Golden State has ruled out Rupert as she will miss the remainder of the season due to her pregnancy.
