New York enters Wednesday’s game with a 5-4 record after defeating the Phoenix Mercury at home Friday night.

In Friday’s victory over the Mercury, Pauline Astier led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 16 points, six rebounds and six assists while Betnijah Laney-Hamilton added 13 points and three rebounds of her own off the bench.
The Liberty will try to extend their winning streak to three games Wednesday as they face off against the Tempo in a tough home matchup.

Marina Mabrey led the way for the Tempo in Saturday’s victory as she ended the game with 18 points, three rebounds and four assists while Kiki Rice recorded 17 points and six rebounds.
