Seattle enters Wednesday’s game with a 1-3 record after losing on the road to the Indiana Fever on Sunday night.

In Sunday’s loss to the Fever, Natisha Hiedeman led the way for the Storm as she recorded 19 points, two rebounds and two assists while Flau’jae Johnson added 14 points and six rebounds of her own.
Now Seattle will try to bounce back at home on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Sun team.
On the other side, Connecticut enters Wednesday’s contest with a 0-5 record after losing on the road to the Portland Fire on Monday night.

Brittney Griner led the way for the Sun in Monday’s loss as she ended the game with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists while Aneesah Morrow recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds and four assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Sun Injury Report: Will Olivia Nelson-Ododa Play?
For the Sun, they have two players listed on their injury report, including forward Olivia Nelson-Ododa.

Connecticut has ruled out Nelson-Ododa due to a right ankle injury as she will miss her third consecutive contest.
The Sun have also ruled out Laila Lacan as she remains away from the team to begin the season due to overseas obligations.
Storm Injury Report: Will Dominique Malonga Play?
On the other side, the Storm have five players listed on their injury report, including center Dominique Malonga.

Seattle has ruled out Malonga due to a concussion as she will miss her second straight game as she remains in the league’s concussion protocol.
The Storm have also ruled out Ezi Magbegor due to a right foot injury as she remains sidelined to begin the season.
Katie Lou Samuelson has also been ruled out as she continues to recover from right knee surgery while Taina Mair is out due to a coach’s decision.

Awa Fam has also been ruled out as she is away from the team due to overseas obligations, though there is a chance the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 draft could make her debut on Friday.
