Final Injury Report for Storm-Wings: Will Alanna Smith, Natisha Hiedeman Play?

The Dallas Wings are at home Sunday afternoon as they host the Seattle Storm in a Western Conference matchup.

Dallas enters Sunday’s game with a 21-16 record after defeating the Indiana Fever at home Thursday night.

In Thursday’s victory over the Fever, Arike Ogunbowale led the way for the Wings as she recorded 32 points and three assists while Jessica Shepard added 26 points and eight rebounds of her own.

The Wings will try to grab another victory Sunday as they face off against a struggling Storm team at home.

Seattle enters Sunday’s contest with a 7-30 record after losing at home to the Chicago Sky last Sunday afternoon.

Dominique Malonga led the way for the Storm in their loss to the Sky as she ended the game with 19 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks while Ezi Mabegor recorded 17 points, four rebounds and five blocks.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

Storm Injury Report: Will Natisha Hiedeman Play?

The Storm have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Natisha Hiedeman.

Seattle has ruled out Heideman due to a left shoulder injury as she will miss her second consecutive contest.

Wings Injury Report: Will Alanna Smith Play?

The Wings have three players listed on their injury report, though Alanna Smith is not one of them.

Of course, Smith briefly exited Thursday’s victory due to a right leg injury, though she was able to return. She will be available for Sunday’s matchup as she is not listed on the Wings’ injury report.

Dallas has ruled out Aziaha James due to a left leg injury as she will miss her fourth straight game and there is no timetable for her return.

The Wings have also ruled out Azzi Fudd as she is set to undergo right knee surgery that will keep her out for the remainder of the season.

Costanza Verona has also been ruled out after her contract was temporarily suspended by the Wings on Aug. 8.
