The Chicago Sky are at home Wednesday night as they host the Los Angeles Sparks in an interconference matchup.
Chicago enters Wednesday’s contest with an 11-19 record after losing at home to the Phoenix Mercury Monday night.

In Monday’s loss to the Mercury, Kamilla Cardoso led the way for the Sky as she recorded 16 points, 13 rebounds and five assists while Courtney Vandersloot added 16 points, five rebounds and 10 assists of her own.
The Sky will try to bounce back Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Sparks team at home.
Los Angeles enters Wednesday’s game with an 11-17 record after defeating the Portland Fire on the road Sunday afternoon.

Dearica Hamby led the way for the Sparks in Sunday’s victory as she ended the game with 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists while Nneka Ogwumike recorded 22 points and 10 rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, each may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
Sparks Injury Report: Will Monique Akoa Makani Play?

The Sparks enter Wednesday’s matchup with a healthy roster as they have nobody listed on their injury report, including guard Monique Akoa Makani.
Of course, Akoa Makani missed Sunday’s game after being acquired from the Phoenix Mercury in the Kelsey Plum trade but she is off the injury report and is expected to make her Sparks debut against the Sky.
Sky Injury Report: Will Sydney Taylor, Skylar Diggins Play?

The Sky have four players listed on their injury report, including Sydney Taylor and Skylar Diggins.
Chicago has listed Taylor as questionable due to left groin strain that she suffered in Monday’s loss and she is in danger of missing her first game since May 20.
The Sky have ruled out Diggins due to a right knee injury that has sidelined her since July 7 and there is still no timetable for her return.
Azura Stevens has also been ruled out as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest due to personal reasons while Rickea Jackson will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
