Final Injury Report for Sky-Fever: Will Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham Play?

The Indiana Fever are at home Thursday night as they host the Chicago Sky in an Eastern Conference matchup as part of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Indiana enters Thursday’s game with a 6-5 record after defeating the Washington Mystics on the road Monday night.

In Monday’s victory over the Mystics, Caitlin Clark led the way for the Fever as she recorded 19 points, three rebounds and five assists while Aliyah Boston added 14 points, 10 rebounds and three assists of her own.

The Fever will try to grab another victory Thursday as they face off against a struggling Sky team at home.

Chicago enters Thursday’s contest with a 4-8 record after losing at home to the Atlanta Dream Tuesday night.

Natasha Cloud led the way for the Sky in Tuesday’s loss as she ended the game with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists off the bench while Skylar Diggins recorded 17 points, three rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Sky Injury Report: Will DiJonai Carrington, Courtney Vandersloot Play?

The Sky have three players listed on their injury report, including DiJonai Carrington and Courtney Vandersloot.

Chicago has ruled out Carrington as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from left foot surgery that she underwent in April.

The Sky have also ruled out Vandersloot as she remains sidelined while recovering from right knee surgery to repair a torn ACL that she suffered last season.

Rickea Jackson has also been ruled out as she will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

The Fever have two players listed on their injury report, including Clark and Sophie Cunningham.

Indiana has listed Clark as probable and she is expected to play despite continuing to deal with a lingering back injury that she has been able to play through over the past few weeks.

The Fever have listed Cunningham as questionable due to a right elbow injury and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season.
