Final Injury Report for Pistons-Wizards: Will Cade Cunningham, Trae Young Play?

The Detroit Pistons are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Washington Wizards in an Eastern Conference matchup.

Detroit enters Thursday’s game with a 49-19 record after defeating Washington on the road on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Wizards, Jalen Duren led the way for the Pistons as he recorded 36 points and 12 rebounds while Daniss Jenkins added 15 points and seven rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Detroit will try to grab another victory on the road on Thursday as they face off against the Wizards once again.

On the other side, Washington enters Thursday’s contest with a 16-52 record after losing at home to the Pistons on Tuesday night.

Bub Carrington led the way for the Wizards in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 30 points and four rebounds while Will Riley recorded 21 points and three rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Pistons Injury Report: Will Cade Cunningham, Isaiah Stewart Play?

For the Pistons, they have two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out both Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stewart.

Detroit has ruled out Cunningham due to a collapsed lung that is expected to keep him out for an extended period of time.

With Cunningham sidelined, Jenkins and Marcus Sasser could both be in line for increased roles until the star guard is cleared to return.

The Pistons have ruled out Stewart due to a left calf strain as he will miss his third consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least one more week due to the injury.

With Stewart sidelined, Paul Reed and Ron Holland II could both continue to have larger roles off the bench.

Wizards Injury Report: Will Trae Young, Alex Sarr Play?

On the other side, the Wizards have eight players listed on their injury report, including both Trae Young and Alex Sarr.

Washington has ruled out Young due to a right quad contusion as he will miss his second consecutive contest.

With Young sidelined once again, Carrington, Riley and Jaden Hardy could all continue to have increased roles.

The Wizards have also ruled out Leaky Black due to a left ankle sprain while Anthony Davis, Kyshawn Geroge, Cam Whitmore and D’Angelo Russell all remain sidelined.

Sarr has been listed as questionable due to left big toe capsulitis and he is in danger of missing his third straight game while Bilal Coulibaly is questionable due to a right heel injury.
