The Minnesota Timberwolves are at home on Friday night as they host the New Orleans Pelicans in a Western Conference matchup.

In Wednesday’s victory over the Raptors, Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves as he recorded 30 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Boney Hyland added 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists of his own off the bench.
Now Minnesota will try to grab another victory at home on Friday as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.
On the other side, New Orleans enters Friday’s contest with a 13-40 record after losing on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime on Wednesday night.

Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 44 points, six rebounds and six assists while Zion Williamson recorded 20 points, five rebounds and eight assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

On the other side, the Timberwolves have four players listed on their injury report, including both Julius Randle and Ayo Dosunmu.

Minnesota has listed Randle as questionable due to left thumb soreness, though he has been able to play through the injury over the past few games.
If Randle is sidelined against the Pelicans, Naz Reid and Joe Ingles could both be in line for increased roles.
