The Portland Trail Blazers are at home on Monday night as they host the Brooklyn Nets in an interconference matchup.
Portland enters Monday’s game with a 35-37 record after losing on the road to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.

In Sunday’s loss to the Nuggets, Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers as he recorded 23 points, six rebounds and 14 assists while Donovan Clingan added 18 points and 13 rebounds of his own.
Now Portland will try to bounce back at home on Monday as they face off against a struggling Nets team.
On the other side, Brooklyn enters Monday’s contest with a 17-54 record after losing on the road to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.

Ben Saraf led the way for the Nets in Sunday’s loss as he ended the game with 22 points, three rebounds and five assists off the bench while Ziaire Williams recorded 18 points and three assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Nets Injury Report: Will Nic Claxton, Michael Porter Jr. Play?
For the Nets, they have seven players listed on their injury report, though Nic Claxton is not one of them.

Of course, Claxton missed Sunday's loss due to rest but he is off the injury report and will return on Monday in the second game of Brooklyn's back-to-back.
Brooklyn has ruled out Michael Porter Jr. due to a left hamstring strain as he will miss his seventh straight game and he is expected to miss at least two more weeks.

The Nets have also ruled out Danny Wolf due to a left ankle sprain while Noah Clowney is out with a right wrist sprain.
Drake Powell has been ruled out due to left knee injury management while Terance Mann is out due to rest.
Egor Demin and Day'Ron Sharpe have also been ruled out as they are both set to miss the remainder of the season.

On the other side, the Trail Blazers have five players listed on their injury report, including both Jerami Grant and Robert Williams III.

Portland has ruled out Grant due to left foot soreness as he will miss his second consecutive contest.
With Grant sidelined once again, Sidy Cissoko, Matisse Thybulle and Kris Murray could all have larger roles.

The Trail Blazers have also ruled out Williams III due to left knee injury management while Shaedon Sharpe, Vit Krejci and Damian Lillard all remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.
