Connecticut has listed Griner as questionable due to a left knee injury and she is in danger of missing her fifth consecutive contest.
The Sun have ruled out Raegan Beers due to a concussion as she will miss her first game July 6.
The good news for the Sun is that Aaliyah Edwards is off the injury report and will return Friday after missing the last four games with a right knee injury.
