In Sunday’s loss to the Mystics, Kahleah Copper led the way for the Mercury as she recorded 15 points and three rebounds while Alyssa Thomas added 10 points, 10 rebounds and six assists of her own.
The Mercury will try to bounce back and snap their three-game losing streak Tuesday as they face off against a struggling Sparks team on the road.
Los Angeles enters Tuesday’s contest with a 12-19 record after losing at home to the Golden State Valkyries Sunday night.

Nneka Ogwumike led the way for the Sparks in Sunday’s loss as she ended the game with 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists while Erica Wheeler recorded 15 points and four assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday night’s matchup, each may be without one of their key players due to injury.

Phoenix has ruled out Plum due to a lower left leg injury that caused her to exit Sunday’s loss as she will miss her first game since August 1.

Los Angeles has listed Akoa Makani as questionable due to a right ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her second straight game.
