Final Injury Report for Mercury-Lynx: Will Napheesa Collier, Natasha Mack Play?

The Minnesota Lynx are at home Monday night as they host the Phoenix Mercury in a Western Conference matchup.

Minnesota enters Monday’s game with a 17-6 record after defeating the New York Liberty at home Saturday afternoon.

In Saturday’s victory over the Liberty, Olivia Miles led the way for the Lynx as she recorded 23 points, five rebounds and four assists while Kayla McBride added 25 points, four rebounds and four steals of her own.

The Lynx will try to grab another victory and win their third straight game Monday as they face off against a struggling Mercury team at home.

Phoenix enters Monday’s contest with an 8-16 record after losing on the road to the Las Vegas Aces by 48 points Saturday night.

Monique Akoa Makani led the way for the Mercury in Saturday’s loss as she ended the game with 13 points while Lexi Held recorded 11 points and three rebounds off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Mercury Injury Report: Will Natasha Mack Play?

The Mercury have two players listed on their injury report for Monday, including forward Natasha Mack.

Phoenix has ruled out Mack as she will miss her seventh consecutive contest due to a bone bruise in her left foot.

The Mercury have listed Sami Whitcomb as probable due to left knee injury management, and she is expected to play against the Lynx.

Lynx Injury Report: Will Napheesa Collier Play?

The Lynx have two players listed on their injury report as well, including star forward Napheesa Collier.

Minnesota has ruled out Collier as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from surgery on both of her ankles.

The Lynx have also ruled out Emma Cechova as she will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
