The New York Liberty are on the road Saturday afternoon as they travel to take on the Connecticut Sun in an Eastern Conference matchup.
New York enters Saturday’s game with a 21-14 record after defeating the Los Angeles Sparks at home Thursday night.

In Thursday’s victory over the Sparks, Sabrina Ionescu led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 20 points, three rebounds and four assists while Jonquel Jones added 11 points, 18 rebounds and four assists of her own.
The Liberty will try to grab another victory Saturday as they face off against a struggling Sun team on the road.
Connecticut enters Saturday’s contest with an 8-24 record after losing at home to the Atlanta Dream Thursday night.

Aaliyah Edwards led the way for the Sun in Thursday’s loss as she ended the game with 15 points and four rebounds off the bench while Gianna Kneepkens recorded 10 points and three rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday afternoon’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Liberty Injury Report: Will Sabrina Ionescu Play?

The Liberty have three players listed on their injury report for Saturday’s matchup, including Ionescu.
New York has listed Ionescu as questionable due to a left foot injury that she suffered in Thursday’s victory and she is in danger of missing her first game since June 11.
The Liberty have ruled out Satou Sabally as she is away from the team and recovering from a head injury that has sidelined her since June 25.
Leonie Fiebich will also miss Friday’s game due to a left foot injury that has kept her out since July 7.
Sun Injury Report: Will Brittney Griner, Aaliyah Edwards Play?

The Sun have two players listed on their injury report as they have listed Brittney Griner and Edwards as questionable.
Connecticut has listed Griner as questionable due to a left knee injury and she is in danger of missing her first game since Aug. 2.
The Sun have also listed Edwards as questionable due to a left ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her first game since Aug. 2 as well.
