The Minnesota Lynx are at home Sunday afternoon as they host the New York Liberty in Game 1 of the first round of the WNBA playoffs.
Minnesota enters Sunday’s game as the No. 1 seed in the WNBA playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 33-11 record following a victory over the Indiana Fever on Thursday night.

In Thursday’s victory over the Fever, Natasha Howard led the way for the Lynx as she recorded 21 points and eight rebounds while Kayla McBride added 22 points and three assists of her own.
The Lynx will try to grab another victory Sunday as they try to use home court to their advantage and take a 1-0 series lead over the Liberty.
New York enters Sunday’s game as the No. 8 seed in the WNBA playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 26-18 record following a loss at home to the Atlanta Dream Wednesday night.

Jonquel Jones led the way for the Liberty in Wednesday’s loss as she ended the game with 10 points and 14 rebounds while Han Xu recorded 11 points and two rebounds off the bench.
While both teams are looking to start the playoffs with a victory in Game 1 Sunday afternoon, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Liberty Injury Report: Will Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones Play?

The Liberty have two players listed on their injury report, though Breanna Stewart is not one of them.
Of course, Stewart missed Wednesday’s loss due to left knee soreness, but she is off the injury report and will return Sunday.
New York has listed Jones as questionable due to a left ankle injury that she suffered in Wednesday’s loss and there is a chance she could miss the first game of the playoffs.
The Liberty have ruled out Satou Sabally as she will miss the remainder of the season with a head injury.
Lynx Injury Report: Will Olivia Miles Play?

The Lynx have two players listed on their injury report, though Olivia Miles is not one of them.
Of course, Miles missed the final two games of the regular season with a left calf injury but she is off the injury report and will play in Game 1.
Minnesota has ruled out Anastasiia Olairi Kosu due to a foot injury while Emma Cechova will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from a torn ACL.
Fans can catch Game 1 between the Liberty and Lynx from Minneapolis Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on ABC.
