The New York Liberty are on the road Thursday night as they travel to take on the Atlanta Dream in an Eastern Conference showdown as part of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.
New York enters Thursday’s game with an 8-4 record after defeating the Connecticut Sun on the road Monday night.

In Monday’s victory over the Sun, Breanna Stewart led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 28 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals while Han Xu added 14 points and six rebounds of her own.
The Liberty will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to five games Thursday as they face off against the Dream in a tough road matchup.
Atlanta enters Thursday’s contest with an 8-3 record after defeating the Chicago Sky on the road Tuesday night.

Angel Reese led the way for the Dream in Tuesday’s victory as she ended the game with 17 points, 17 rebounds and four assists while Rhyne Howard recorded 17 points, three rebounds, five assists and three steals.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, each may be without one of their key players due to injury.

New York has ruled out Ionescu due to back soreness as she will miss her seventh consecutive contest, though it appears as though she may be nearing a return after it was reported that she has been participating in 5-on-5 work.

The Dream have only one player listed on their injury report as well as they have ruled out center Brionna Jones.
